The Ford hitch light I got off you is on a 2017 Expedition and it sends codes all the time like left turn fault, trailer disconnected...every 3-5 minutes I cleaned connections, used electrical spray etc. How do I fix this?

Since using the Ford Brake Light Trailer Hitch Cover # CR-007F on your 2017 Ford Expedition is causing an error code, you will need to either add an additional 4-way connector like the # HM48030 to bypass the OEM wiring, or you can add load resistors # DI34ZR to the yellow and green turn signal wires of the cover.
The towing system on the newer Ford's can be finicky about adding accessories as it thinks there is a trailer connected but is not seeing the power draw it is programed to expect which causes the error codes you are seeing.
