For your 2009 Chevrolet 2500 I recommend the Erickson Flip-Up Stake Pocket Anchors - Chrome-Plated Steel - Qty 2 Item # EM01006. These offer a tie down loop that sits inside the plate when not in use. The loop flips up to provide a nice large loop to make it easy to attach a hook to. They are also available in black under Item # EM01009.
