Do Curt and Draw Tite Hitches Fit 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime

Question:

I just got a new 2021 Rav4 Prime plug-in hybrid, XSE trim with Premium package including hands free lift gate. Ive seen the Curt 13416 and Draw-tite DT82QR class III hitch options for the regular Rav4. Are either/both of these also compatible with my new Prime version? Im concerned the additional batteries will modify the geometry for mounting or clearance. If both work, is one better for using a hitch mounted bike rack? And if hitch is installed, will the hands free lift gate still work properly foot activated with a hitch in the way?

Both the Curt # C13416 and the Draw Tite # DT82QR are a fit for your 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime as we have confirmed this with the manufacturers and also had customer come back with Prime models and tell us how well the hitches both fit. The hands free liftgate will function still but you'd have to kick to the side of the hitch.

I like that the Draw Tite is a bit more recessed than the Curt so that would be what I would go with to carry a bike rack like the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider # HR200Z but either option would work really well.
