Wire Gauge for Furrion Chill 15,500 Btu Thermostat

Question:
I need to know what kind of thermostat wire to use for this unit and controller. I need voltage, amps, and size wire to use. I am building out a race car trailer into my own rv and I want to make it with a modern look on the inside and this unit would be great for what I need.

The thermostat for the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 15,000 Btu - White # FR55PVW needs 12 volts, and the unit uses 15.8 amps when it is cooling; according to Furrion, the minimum wire size to use is 12 AWG.
