HI. I have a Swagman Trailhead 3 folding hitch and it has been working great for my 2 regular bikes. However, I just bought a new Macwheel Cruiser 550 28inch Electric City Bike and would to use the bike rack for the new bike along with one of my regular bikes. THe new electric bike is a step thru model. Can I use an adapter bar to carry the new bike on the rack? Thanks.

I have another option but your Swagman Trailhead 3 # S63365 is only rated for 35lbs per bike and since your Macwheel Cruiser 550 weights roughly 50lbs you will need to use a bike rack that can accommodate the weight.
Instead I recommend the Swagman E-Spec Electric Bike Carrier # S94FR you were looking at as it is a great option that can carry bikes up to 70lbs and when used with the Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar # 64005 will support your electric bike and one regular bike.
