I have my replacement hinge from you. What is best way to attach it so I don’t break the box?

Installing a replacement hinge or strut on your Thule rooftop cargo box isn't complicated, but it does take some force. I have added a link to a video showing how to do this, and you can forward to about the 1:30 part to get to the nitty-gritty. In our video, our installer uses a clamp to make it easier.
The correct replacement hinge or strut is going to depend on the exact Thule cargo box you have; there are two replacements, and the exact Thule rooftop cargo box they work with is listed on the product page:
