why does it say to replace inner and outer tube on gooseneck adapter typo? I thought you remove inner pin tube and swap king pin tube and vise versa bulldog 4in tube thx

The specific Bulldog Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Adapter, # BD0289580300, that you found is actually both the inner and outer tube. If you only need the inner tube, then you will want part # BD0289640300. This is just the inner tube that will give you the adapter without replacing the outer tube welded to your trailer frame.
