Question:
Hi! Nice video review of Thule Easy Fit tire chains.... Great job!!! The only thing that I am concerned about is the locking plastic pedal that may break - especialy after they are few years old with plastic loosing its elasticity. What was your impresion - is that a weak point of the product?

I spoke with the gentleman that made the video review of the Thule CU9 chains about his impressions of the quality. He stated that it was pretty well-built and that it should hold up just fine with normal use. He added that if you place your foot on the pedal and apply force it will hold up just fine. Do not jump on, stomp on, or impact the pedal because in the cold that could damage it.
These chains have a 5-year limited warranty as well. I have linked the video for reference. I have also linked some FAQs on tire chains for you.
