Replacement Parts for Thule Aero Feet # TH400XT

Updated 12/06/2012 | Published 12/05/2012

Question:

I am missing the lock assemblies for one of my 400XT Aero feet. It looks like this except the screw is separate from the plastic housing. Would this work, or does the screw remove? Do you have older Thule parts that I am not seeing on this website?

The TH400XT feet are made up of the following parts:

Cover, # 853-5704
Washer, # 853-1317-04
Handle Assembly, # 753-2343-02
End Cap, # 853-3593
Measuring Tape, # 520-5010-02

The original Aero feet (400, not the 400XT which is the newest version) had a completely different parts list but those parts are no longer available. It did have a separate hood and a bolt/handle. If you have the old version and the rack is not functional without the musing parts you will need to upgrade to # TH400XT feet and probably a new fit kit if you can tell me the year, make, and model of the vehicle.

If you need to replace the lock cylinder it is possible to get one that will match the existing keys you have. I would need to know the key number.

If you are looking for replacement lock cores, you can use part TH450400. The kit will provide 4 locks and a pair of keys to use with the new locks.
