Replacement Bumper for a 1996 Dodge Dakota SLT Extended Cab

Need to know if this bumper will fit and mounting kit also.1996 dodge dakota SLT extended cab rear bumper

The replacement bumpers that we have for the 1996 Dodge Dakota, see link, are considered a universal fit. There are different lengths for different trucks but it is the installation kit that is more custom for the truck. The installation kit is included with the bumper, # 63000-97800. My contact at Westin stated that the bumpers and install kit will work on extended cab models, but they will not work on quad-cab models.

THANKS FOR THE INFO, I ORDERED THE 63000-97800, DODGE THE TERMONOLOGY CHANGES BETWEEN MANUFACTURES, i HAVE A DODGE DAKOTA 2 DOOR WITH A SEAT IN THE BACK THAT CAN HOLD 2 SMALL PEOPLE, THE FRONT SEATS MOVE UP TO ALLOW ENTRY. iM ASSUMING A QUAD CAB HAS 4 DOORS? AS FAR AS I KNOW DAKOTA DIDDNT COME WITH 4 DOORS. BUMPER WAS NOT IN STOCK , WILL SHIP FROM WESTIN NEXT WEEK, ARE YOU CONFIDENT I ORDERED THE CORRECT REAR BUMPER? THE TRUCK IS A 1996 SLT DAKOTA, EXTENDED CAB. 2 DOOR ENTRY. THANKS

The 4 door Quad Cab became available on the Dakota for the 1997 model year. 2 doors with a small seating area behind the front seats would mean your 1996 is an Extended cab. According to the Westin fit chart, you did order the correct bumper and mount kit for your 1996 Dakota Extended Cab.
