The Putco PURE 9007 Halogen Headlight Bulbs # P239007NW will provide a very bright and blue headlight beam for your 2001 Ford Explorer.
The wattage of the bulbs are 55 watts at 12 volts for the low beam and 65 watts at 12 volts for high beams with a color temperature of 6000 degrees K and come with a 1-year warranty.
Another option, although it does not meet Department of Transportation specifications and is intended for off-road use only, is the EVO CIPA Formance Lights # CM93373. The are also a 9007 bulb with an approximate life of 800 hours with a 65-75 wattage at 12 volts and are brighter than the Putco lights mentioned above. They burn at a temperature of 10,000 degrees K and come with a 30-day warranty.
