Does the Trektop Soft Top Completely Roll Up on a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Altitude Edition

Question:

I have a 2012 4dr Jeep Unlimited Altitude Edition. I like this top but want the topless look. Assuming I zip out the windows, can roll i roll this all the way back to the 5th tire? I have attached a photo of a jeep with a top that has a bow system I know this does not have one but folds up like I want. Thanks for your help

I spoke with my contact at Bestop and he informed me that the top that you will want is the Supertop NX, # B5472335. The Supertop NX allows you to fold back the top for a sunroof appearance and allows you to roll the entire soft top back to the spare tire for a topless look. As you mentioned, the rear windows will need to be unzipped to roll the rear portion back.

The Trektop Soft Top, # B5685335, that you referenced will not fold all the way back to the spare tire like you are looking for because this top does not have a bow system in the back. My contact at Bestop informed me that once the top tensioners are removed, the top would simply come off completely.

The Supertop NX comes complete with OEM-style replacement soft top and hardware for your 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Altitude Edition.
