Question:

Hi - My roommate drilled out the lock for my Thule Cascade cargo box after he lost the key. I think I got all of the lock core out, and am now looking for a replacement core. I read another etrailer.com support post stating that I need to get part number THLOCKN077. Is that a core specific to the Thule Cascade box? Please advise on which part I need I need 1 lock core and key. I am attaching photos of the serial number sticker on the inside of the cargo box along with the lock placement front and back. Thank you!

The part # THLOCKN077 isn't the only lock core that can be use in your Thule Cascade cargo box but it would be an option just as easy as any other option. With it you'd just need the Thule key part # THKEYN077 and the change key # 853-1251 and you'd be set.

You'd put the change key in the lock core and then insert the core into cargo box and once you remove the change key it would be installed.
