Can Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack Mount to Roof Rack Crossbars

I have a pair of Rhino Rack Vortex crossbars on my 2016 Toyota Tundra. Looking at the Rhino Rack website, it says I mount this rack to the legs, not the crossbars. But while looking at the Rhino-Rack Shovel, Spade, or Axe Holder Brackets for Pioneer Platform Racksinch on your site, I see a platform mounted to Vortex crossbars. Can I mount this platform to my existing Vortex crossbars? And if so, what hardware do I need? Thanks!

There is an option to mount the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform rack to the crossbars on your 2016 Toyota Tundra, and you will simply need one of the following, depending on the size you want.
- 48" Long x 38" Wide: Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack for Crossbars # RR42114BF
- 58" Long x 47" Wide: Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack for Crossbars # RR42115BF
As you can see on page 5 of the linked instructions, you will not need any additional hardware to mount this rack to your crossbars. It can either fit in the channels on your crossbars or it can be clamped onto the crossbars with the included clamps.
There are also a number of accessories you can use with this rack depending on what type of adventure you're heading on, such as the Rhino-Rack Ratchet Strap Kit # RR43175, Gas Can Holder # RJCH-HOR, Folding Ladder # RRRAFL, or Eye Bolt Kit # RR43178.
