I looking at using two of your 12 inch fans for pulling air. Im looking for a high cfm like your d18212 and your d16918 Are these units water proof ?? I want to use two on my dune buggy

I spoke with my contact at Derale and he told me you should have no problem using the Derale High-Output Radiator Fan, # D18212 or # D16918, on your dune buggy.

He told me that they test and install these fans on off road racing vehicles such as dune buggies, monster trucks and baja bugs and rarely have issues with the fan motors when they come in contact with the elements. These fans are designed to be used not only with performance street racing or heavy towing applications, but also off road applications.
