Where is the Brake Controller Port on a 2006 Dodge Dakota

I have a 30 amp fuse for an elect brake,and a 7 way receptacle.Where can I find my harness connection?

The port under your hood that the Hopkins Plug-in Simple Brake Wiring Adapter # HM47755 you referenced plugs into will be under the dash just to the right of the emergency brake.
Check out the picture I attached that shows exactly where it is.
You will want to check the 7-way for the word Mopar written on it somewhere to determine if it is OEM or an aftermarket installed 7-way. If the 7-way is aftermarket there will not be a port and you will need to hardwire your brake controller in with a Brake Controller Wiring kit # ETBC7.
