Installing Hoses on Flex-a-lite Transmission Cooler

The 3/8 hose supplied with kit does not fit the barb fitting on the transmission cooler 2017 Ford Explorer. The hose is too small. It look like 7/16 or 1/2 ID hose. Any hose connector that would work?

The Flex-a-lite Transmission Cooler - Plate and Fin - 17 Row - Barbed Fitting # FLX400117 has the 3/8 inch barbs. Since the hose doesn't fit as tight as you'd like, I recommend using the Derale High-Temperature Replacement Hose for Transmission Applications - 5' Long # D13016 which does have the 3/8 inch inner diameter.
When installing the transmission cooler hoses, I recommend leaving the hose out in the sun for a little while to allow it to heat up a little and become more pliable. Then use some fluid on the edges to help the installation. The hoses should be a fairly tight fit, but the clamps are there to ensure the hoses stay in place and don't leak.
