To pull a camper behind your 2018 Subaru you have a couple options. The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" Item # 75673. This hitch has a 600 lb max tongue weight which is the downward pressure on the inside of the receiver tube and a 4000 lb max trailer weight which is the trailer plus the load included. Keep in mind this does not increase the vehicles towing capacity. You always want to go with the lowest number between what the owners manual says and the hitch. This hitch has a 2" x 2" receiver tube opening with a 5/8" hitch pin hole. The pin and clip are not included.
There is also the option of the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" Item # 306-X7601. Installing this hitch is a little more involved because the fascia has to be removed. The hitch itself is a little heavier and the weight capacity drops to 525 lb maximum tongue weight and 3500 lbs maximum trailer weight however, the cross tube is hidden unlike the Drawtite hitch.
I also recommend T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item # 118467. This wiring harness gives you your 4 flat to connect to the wiring on the trailer so you trailer can receive light functions from the vehicle.
If you do not have a ball mount I recommend Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches - 2" Ball - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 7.5K Item # C45534. The ball can be placed on this mount in the rise or drop position to help level your trailer. It comes with the pin and clip and a locking pin with two keys.
I have provided links to videos to help walk you through the instillation on the hitches and the wiring.
