Question:

Hi- I have the Bauer Revolution Swing Away Bike Rack and have lost the hitch pin and want to replace my locking knob with one that actually locks. Will this part SR0018 work for this rack? Also can you recommend a hitch pin that will work too? I would prefer one that also has a lock, but open to no lock if that is all you have. Thank you.

We do not carry the Bauer Revolution bike rack, so we haven't ever tested any of these parts and don't really have a way of knowing for sure. With that said, I do know that the # SR0018 has a 3/8" bolt with a -16 thread pitch, so if yours has the same bolt on the knob it should work just fine. I can't guarantee a fit but I believe that it would be fairly close.

For a hitch pin, it doesn't look like the shank hole is threaded so you should be able to use something like the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # C23519 for 2" hitches.
