Question:

Hi. I have an RBW Model: X-16 5th wheel hitch. I’d like to install the hitch into my 2011 F350, 8ft bed. Can you recommend the appropriate mounting kit?

The RBW X-16 5th wheel hitch is compatible with industry standard bed rails that are included with hitch install kits from Curt, Reese, Draw-Tite, Valley, Husky, Demco and B&W, among others.

I'd recommend the Custom 5th wheel bracket/rail kit from Reese, part # RP50026-58. You won't need to drill into the truck frame to install this kit, but you will need to drill down through the bed to attach the bed rails to the frame brackets.

To install a 7-way connector in the truck bed, I'd recommend using part # 50-97-410.
