The Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Carrier Setup w/ Start Capacitor - 13,500 Btu - White # ACCAR135 will work as a replacement. It will utilize your current wiring utilizing a special harness so you will be able to still even be able to use your remote. It is a direct replacement that will work very well for you.

If you want to upgrade to a larger system the 15,000 Btu unit that will also work is # ACCAR150.

This is my next question.... Do I need to order anything additional, such as a new start capacitor, for it to work in replacement of my current unit?

There is nothing further needed. It comes with everything that would go on the roof, compressor, capacitor, coils, gasket, wiring harness, etc. It does not include a heat pump which some people like as an upgrade and is compatible with one. If you want to add that use Electric Heat Strip for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners - 5,500 BTU # ACMHD.
