How To Install Replacement Tail Light for Thule Terrapin or Transporter

Question:
How do I remove old light fixture from the rubber seal? Do I have to remove both the seal and fixture from the box or am I able to just remove the fixture from the rubber seal? Thank you.

I don't have specific install instructions for the Replacement Tail Light for Thule Terrapin or Transporter part # TH05252 but after searching through customer reviews it appears the light should just pop in and out, no tools will be needed. The light should be able to separate from the seal without the seal coming out as well but if so it should pop right back into place.
