Does Hopkins Tailgate Assist # 74211 Fit 2016 Ford F150 Platinum

Question:
I have the subject vehicle with an remote opening with factory installed soft opening and the tailgate step. Will this lift assist fit this vehicle and will it allow the tailgate to lay flat when open with the factory soft opening? Will it interfere with the tailgate step? Thank you

The Hopkins EasyLift tailgate assist part # 74211 is a confirmed fit for your 2016 Ford F-150 and would not interfere with the soft opening and tailgate step setup you have now either.
