Question:
Hi. I’m Planning on installing a Curt 13385 hitch on a 2007 Honda Ridgeline. I need a wiring harness and I’m hearing and reading horror stories about electrical malfunctions resulting from aftermarket wiring harnesses. Is there a wiring harness that works better in my vehicle than others? -

The trailer wiring harness options we have for a 2007 Honda Ridgeline all have built-in protection to isolate itself from the vehicle in the event of a fault. That said, the best one we offer is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118400 which in our experience is the most durable and reliable option. It offers plug-n-pay installation, has diodes to prevent damage to the vehicle wiring, and pulls power from the battery so you won't strain the vehicles wiring.
In order to complete your setup the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13385 and etrailer Ball Mount Kit part # 989900 are great options.
