Question:

I have a 2020 RDX Advanced which has a kick sensor below the rear bumper. Is there a special hitch for that? I would want a 1/4 receiver. Also, are their different models to choose from?

At this point in time (June 2020) the only trailer hitches that fit your 2020 Acura RDX come from Draw-Tite with their 1-1/4" # 36114 and 2" # 76268.

As far as the kick sensor goes, we have had a report from someone with a 2019 RDX with the Advanced model say that they were unable to get the kick sensors to pick up their foot with the hitch installed. When I looked into the possibility of a kick sensor relocation kit from Acura it looks like they say when they install a hitch the area where the sensors pick up the foot motion is 12" to the left of the receiver, but I'm not sure if that applies to aftermarket hitches or just the hitches that they install.

If you're just needing to transport something smaller like a bike rack then we do have roof rack options available as well which means you wouldn't have to worry about that sensor at all. If you want to look into this just let me know and I'll be more than happy to look at options with you.
