Question:
Is there a hitch receiver that would allow me to use a 4 bike carrier on a 2012 Mazda 5? Or a 4 bike hitch rack that would work on a class 1 hitch recriver? Is the 4 bike Thule Camber a possible solution?

Both the Curt # C11127 and the Draw-Tite # 24874 are Class I hitches for your 2012 Mazda 5. They will allow you to mount a 4 bike carrier but the carrier will tell you that loading 2 bikes is the max capacity with a class I hitch.
I've linked the pages to all the 4 bike rack options and the 2 bike options for you. The Thule Camber you referenced is a fit within the restrictions I already gave.
To carry 4 bikes you can use 2 bikes on a rear rack and another two bikes on a roof rack. I recommend using the SeaSucker Mini Bomber Roof 2 Bike Rack - Fork Mount - Vacuum Cup Mounted # 298-BM2006 if you don't already have a roof rack because it will be less expensive than a rack and two carriers for your roof.
