Hello, I just purchased one of your products for the 2016 X5 E40 without the M Sport Package. Reading some of these posts, did I purchase the right product?

For your 2016 BMW X5 without M package, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75600 is the correct fit. (If you had the M performance package than that hitch wouldn't work and instead you'd want # 13077 which actually works without the M package too).
If you will be towing with this hitch, you will also want the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT and a ball mount like the etrailer Ball Mount Kit for 2" Hitches - 7,500 lbs # 989900.
