Will an adapter work on this , as I have both an 1 1/4 and a 2inch reciever. Would like to use on both vehicles. 2015 Outback and a 2016 GMC Canyon

I have a solution for you, but the Hollywood Racks Road Runner # HR320 is only designed to fit on 2" receivers. Since you have both 1-1/4" and 2" receivers I recommend using the Malone Runway # MPG2130 since it offers the same features and also comes with a locking hitch pin and locks for the bikes.
