Question:
I am considering purchasing a boat and would like to avoid having to purchase a truck. Im looking boats where the total trailer weight will be approximately 3000 lbs. Since the Odyssey is front-wheel drive, I want to ensure that the rear of my vehicle is not sagging and reducing the friction on the front tires particularly on a boat ramp. Im considering suspension enhancements and/or a weight distribution system. Can you recommend the proper equipment for this setup?

I can help you out and make it really simple for you. Honda states that weight distribution cannot be installed on their vehicles (this information should be in the owners manual). So that leaves suspension enhancement which will be more cost effective and easier to install anyway so it is a win/win.
There are a few different system for your 2008 Honda Odyssey, see link. The air bag types are great for carrying various load sizes that change frequently. But for a vehicle that will basically be carrying the same load most of the time, a system like from Timbren, # THROD2, would be ideal. These are going to prevent vehicle sag, help reduce roll, and provide and better ride especially on rough roads.
I have included a link to the installation instructions and a link to an FAQ article on Timbren systems for you.
