Question:
Hi, I’m looking at your hand winches but dont know much about them. I need to get a car onto a trailer. The car weighs about 2,800 lbs. Would a 2,000 lb capacity hand winch work considering it’s not actually holding all that weight and just rolling the car into a trailer on a 15-20 degree incline ramp?

Due to the 15 to 20 degree incline, the load even though rolling will be a substantial weight. It is equivalent to about a 30 percent increase in resistance. I've attached an article to help explain this.
My recommendation for you is to use the Fulton High-Performance 2-Speed Trailer Winch with Handbrake - Cable Only - Zinc - 3,700 lbs # F142430. This will give you the ability to use either higher speed or higher torque as needed. It will use a cable like # FWC7500100.
