yu stated the gh6-7e replacement is at96117 that cant be the gh6 is 18 w and 14 tall , the 6117 is not

I looked up more info on the GH6-7E that you have and the replacement would be the # AT96163 which is a 6 gallon water heater that has gas and electric plus a automatic pilot.
