7-Way Recommendation for 2017 Ford F-150 with 4-Way
Published 04/16/2020 >
Question:
Thanks for your response! The part you recommended does not include any fuses or relays. Does the F150 2017 XLT not need relays or fuses added in order for trailer brakes to be functional? I saw some vehicles needed to add these, but I am not sure exactly what the relays/fuses do (are they just for charging RV batteries and other charging?)

We have the Tekonsha 7-way part # 118283 that fits your 2017 Ford F-150 and adds a 7-way to the rear of it easily. It plugs into the same square connector your 4-way connects to for an easy install. This will also work with the brake controller wiring you installed too.
