I discovered your Class III hitch install video for a Subaru Legacy 2016. In that video, says the 2inch hitch unit has 600lbs tongue weight capacity. I now see the motorcycle carrier. I want to transport a 410lbs motorcycle. With your Class III hitch and your carrier, can my 2019 Subaru Legacy 3.6 transport a 410lbs motorcycle? If so, what is the distance from the centerline of the carrier to the back of the trunk? Alternatively, how could I figure this out before I buy the hitch and carrier? Thank you

When using the combination of the etrailer Motorcycle Carrier w/ Ramp for 2" Hitch part # e98873 and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13390 the carrier center would be 18 5/16", 16 5/16" or 14 5/16" from the rear bumper of your Legacy depending on which pin hole you choose on the carrier..
You will have to check your owners manual for the information as far as you Legacy's maximum tongue weight rating to ensure you don't exceed that. If your bike is 410 and the carrier is 64 lbs. you have a total of 474 lbs. and you want to make sure the Legacy can handle that.
