Question:

After installation, how do you raise and lower the shade from the inside when the screen door is in the way? You have to open the doors and step outside onto your steps, then separate the screen from the main door to be able to raise or lower the door. We have a 2012 Flagstaff VLite

In regards to the Lippert Thin Shade Complete Window Kit part # LC806621, the shade is extended and retracted by pulling down or up on the lip at the bottom. Therefore, you don't have to mess with any drawstrings. If you have a screen door on the trailer with mesh top, you'd need to open the screen door and partially step outside the trailer in order to raise or lower the shade.
