The correct replacement catalytic converter for 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 4.0 I6 is the MagnaFlow Heavy Metal Loaded, Stainless Steel Catalytic Converter part # MF99205HM which is a universal fit or the MagnaFlow Stainless Steel Catalytic Converter part # MF93139 which is a direct fit.
The universal fit will be a much harder install as welding will be required but it will be more cost effective than the custom fit option which is a bolt-on.
