Question:
I own a 2010 Mercedes GLK 350 and would like to get a trailer hitch in order to tow my 17 1/2 foot boat which weighs approximately 2600 pounds not including the trailer. Which hitch do you recommend? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
The trailer hitch I recommend for a 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK 350 is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75774. The Draw-Tite hitch is a direct bolt-on fit which does not require drilling or cutting. I have attached an install photo for you which as you can see offers a very clean finished install look.
In order to complete your towing setup, you'll also need the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 119250KIT which is a splice free option, the only one available in fact so I high recommend this. If you don't already have a ball mount and hitch ball, the etrailer Ball Mount Kit part # 989900 should have you covered.
