Question:
Hello: I am considering the purchase of a B2B 12V charger for the camper battery bank in my van. The van is a 2018 3500 GM Savana with a 2.8 liter diesel. Do you know if this model has a Smart Alternator? Thank you very much

The best way to tell is to look for the sensor on the battery. Variable Voltage Alternators require some sort of battery sensing technology to determine load coming from the battery and this is done by a battery sensor which is found on one of the battery terminals (usually the battery negative).
