If it is installed, are you still able to use liftgate - hands free? Want to add a bike hitch for travel

Once installed, the Draw-Tite Class III # 75234 receiver hitch will slightly limit the areas under the bumper where the hands-free liftgate sensors can 'read' your foot passing under the bumper. The square receiver tube will block access in the middle of the under-bumper area, but the sensors will read just fine off to either side.

The hitch will work great on your vehicle, and be pretty inconspicuous as well. Most of the hitch is hidden behind the rear bumper fascia, so the only visible portion will be the receiver tube. If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll need a few other items to complete your towing setup. You'll need the # 118805 trailer wiring harness, a ball mount like # C45070 and a trailer ball. For a 1-7/8 inch ball, use # 19260 or # 63845 for a 2 inch.
