Question:
in the foto, the crank is 180 degrees from the mounting tube. can the crank be swiveled so it is in the 90 degree position? or even something between 90 and 180 degrees? Thanks

The crank position is fixed in regard to the location of the mounting tube, although I suppose it would be possible to remove and relocate the mounting tube. Keep in mind that moving the mounting tube from its position would probably cause the trailer frame to interfere with the operation of the crank.
Perhaps a top wind style jack like the Pro Series # PS1400400303 would be a better choice for you. The jack has the same 2000 lb capacity and the identical 10 inch lift as the # PS1401060303 you mentioned, but the top-mounted crank would not interfere with the trailer frame.
