When I part # 119178KIT, it says that it doesnt fit for a 2006 Element. I see from past comments that it should. Please point me in the right direction so I can place an order. Thank you for your time.

I am happy to confirm for you that yes, the Upgraded Circuit Protected Tail Light Converter Hardwire Kit with 4-Pole Connector and Circuit Tester # 119178KIT will fit your 2006 Honda Element. I have added a link to a video showing an install on an '06 Element for you to check out as well.
To complete your towing set up, I recommend adding Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13574.
