Will Classic All-Season Cover for Zero-Turn Lawnmowers # CA73997 Fit a 50-Inch Mower Deck

Question:

if this cover is 44inch wide how does it cover a 50inch mower deck? is this cover water proof?does it have places for tie downs in high wind?do you have a better cover than this one on your web site.

I spoke with my contact at Classic Accessories and they said the Classic All-Season Cover for Zero-Turn Lawnmowers, w/ 50-inch Deck, part # CA73997, is measured for the 44 inches at the rear of the lawn mower. The cover does extend out with the elastic hem on the cover to cover up to a 50-inch deck in the width.

It does not have tie-downs. It has reinforced air vents that will let air circulate and prevent ballooning in the wind. It also has an elastic shock cord in the bottom hem to keep the cover stretched over the mower.

This cover is weatherproof, it is not waterproof. The difference being is weatherproof construction means it will protect the contents from the rain and other bad weather conditions and waterproof means it would have to be able to be submerged under water and have no leakage into the inside.
