Recommended Trailer Brake Controller and 7-Way for 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Good morning! I hope you can help me with this. I have a new 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. No to package. Need to get it wired up for towing a trailer. Need 7-Way and brake controller. Could you tell me what I need and give me your recommendations for the Jeep? Thank you. I appreciate your time.

I can absolutely recommend everything you need to wire up your 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited so that it can safely tow a trailer with electric brakes. Since the Jeep isn't equipped with the factory tow package, you will need to start with a 4-Way wiring harness.
For this the Tekonsha T-One # 118786 will work perfectly. This is a custom harness that will plug right into ports behind the Jeep's tail lights and receive power by running a hot lead up to the battery. This particular harness offers the highest amp capacity available. I have included an installation video below that you can follow along with.
Then with the 4-Way harness in place you will need to upgrade it to a fully functional 7-Way with the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7. The kit includes the 7-Way itself and all the needed wiring to activate all of its circuits. I have attached the full install instructions that you can check out as well.
Once all the wiring is in place you're ready to add the brake controller. For your Jeep Wrangler Unlimited I highly recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR. This is an excellent system that offers a small OEM-style control knob to maintain a clean appearance in the vehicle (check out a couple images I attached that show some different mounting options) along with the unique ability to switch between manual and proportional modes so you always have complete control.
