Expert Reply:
In order to mount the RhinoRack Domed Awning # RR32125 you will need something to attach it to, and the RhinoRack Roof Rack w/ 2 Heavy-Duty Crossbars for Ford Transit Connect # RLZ01-DC will provide you with a relatively cost effective solution when compared to other roof racks. This roof rack has C channel mounting slots that are compatible with the Domed Awning and a 220-lb capacity that will allow you to carry other items as well (you'll want to check the owner's manual on your Transit to confirm the capacity of the roof and make sure not to overload it).
This is going to be the most affordable solution to mount the RhinoRack Domed Awning on your 2011 Ford Transit Van. I've linked a video review of this roof rack that you might want to have a look at, as well.
