Brake controllers are not vehicle specific so you can use any of them that come up for your 2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac.
If your vehicle came with a 4-Way flat trailer connector, you will also need to add a 4 and 7-Way installation kit, # ETBC7. I have included links that explain how to install the ETBC7.
If the vehicle did not come with any trailer connector you will need to add one using # 18252.
