Question:

I am getting the new Class C Ariel rider ebike. It has a cross bar pretty far down. Will the arm catch this bar or is it too long?

Congratulations on the Ariel Rider e-bike. The Swagman E-Spec 2-Electric Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches part # S94FR is a nice choice for the e-bike but you will need the adapter bar part # 64005 to give your Ariel Rider a horizontal surface for the hook to ratchet down onto. I looked at pictures of your e-bike and it looks like you do have a distance from the seat post to the handle bar stem. You wan't to make sure that distance is not more than 33-3/4" to use the adapter bar. I have attached a video for your reference.

I also recommend to the Thule Carbon Bike Frame Protectors part # TH984101 under the adapter bar connections to avoid scratches to your frame.
