Question:
Would this part work as a brake light converter? I have a 74 honda cb750 and am installing new lights 2 dual brightness led lights, 3 wires each low, bright, and ground and would like a way to wire them as the tail, turn, and brake lights. Bike has left, right, tail, brake, and ground wires.

Yes, the Hopkins Tail Light Converter Kit # HM48895 will technically work to take the separate circuits on your bike and combine them so that the stop/turn signals are carried along the same wire for use with your 3-wire tail lights. You would need to cut off the 4-Way connector and hardwire that end to the new tail lights.
A better option though is going to be with the Roadmaster Brite-Lite Wiring Converter # RM-732, as it wouldn't require any modifications and is really designed specifically for this purpose. The running/tail light circuit wire from your bike would bypass the converter and wire directly to the tail light assembly. It is compatible with LED lights.
