Question:
85 Cj 7 Laredo. Im looking for a frame mounted hitch, but how far does it stick out past the rear of the Jeep? Im also looking for a bumper and need some sort of reference.

The Curt Trailer hitch receiver part # 13412 sticks out about 6-1/2" from the cross member. You can use the hitch with an aftermarket bumper but all of the bumpers we carry already have hitch receivers integrated into them. When using an aftermarket bumper you would need to use the 7/16 x 2" bolt provided.
