Question:
I have installed hundreds of light fixtures in homes, but never in an RV wall. Would rather not mess up my motorhome. Would appreciate some tips, since there were no instructions with the lights I bought or videos I could find. Do I just use wood screws to mount to wall or are anchors needed? Thanks

The Gustafson RV Sidewall Light part # 277-000249 is very easy to install. The mounting plate can be installed using standard wood screws as you mentioned. If you like, you can use anchors for added support but these won't really be needed, just make sure to attach the base to a secure surface. In regards to wiring, there is one black wire for power and then one white wire for ground. These wires will need to be run to the distribution panel so the light can receive power. If you are just replacing a light then these wires will already be present and you can use butt connectors to attach them, part # DW05714.
Please note, the Gustafson RV Sidewall Light does not actually come with a light bulb so for this I recommend the 921 style bulbs part # VA0415-00 which will last a very long time without needing to be replaced.
