The Yakima SweetRoll Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs part # Y04074 fit crossbars up to 3-1/2" wide and 1-11/16" tall so you will not have an issue clamping the SweetRoll system to the Rhino-Rack Vortex Crossbar System part # RRVA180B-RRRLT600 that measure 71" long x 3-1/8" wide x 1-3/16" tall. The feet of the system fits into the channels of the XR hard tonneau covers with Trax Rails.

can the crossbar mounts be locked into the slot they fit into on the the cover so that the mounts can not be slid out and stolen?

Yes, the feet have integrated locks to lock the legs to the tonneau cover.
