Question:
I have a Reese 15K 5th Wheel Hitch. Part Number 30032. I also own a 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD Shortbed. Will the Universal Rail kit by Reese work with my Reese hitch and chevy shortbed truck?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Reese Universal Outboard Base Rails # RP30153 will fit on your 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Short Bed to provide compatible mounting rails for your existing Reese 15K Hitch, however you still need to add the custom brackets to actually install them to the truck's frame rails.
For the complete kit that includes these outboard rails and the necessary custom brackets for your Silverado you will need part # RP56007-53. All the hardware is included.
I have attached the written instructions and an install video that you can also check out.
